GUIDE / PLANNING
Something is changing on your street. Start here.
A notice or a rendering rarely answers every question. The application and public discussion can tell you more.

Find the address and proposal.
Use the City’s development applications pages to locate the proposal. Note the application reference, the version of the plans and the documents you are reading.
Ask about everyday life.
- What use and building form are proposed for this site?
- What do the supporting documents say about streets, transportation, services and public space?
- What questions have residents raised, and where are responses recorded?
- What is the next meeting or consultation step, and how can you contribute?
Make your comments specific.
Explain what concerns you, where it occurs and what you would like clarified. The City’s participation guide sets out the current routes for commenting on planning matters. Check the instructions for the application you are following.
